A1 Weathering was started in early 2017 by Jon. Trains have been Jon’s passion from a young age which then translates into the level of care and attention models receive the entire journey though the weathering and modification process.

A1 Weathering goes above and beyond standard modifications – all our projects are bespoke to the customer’s specifications.

From real hand-ground coal loads to home-grown rust, you will get a truly incredible result from any project undertaken by A1 Weathering.

We occasionally have items that come up for sale – whether this is from our own collection, or selling on behalf of a customer. All items sold are tested on our test track. I can also source new locomotives and wagons for you, should the be required, from all manufacturers.

For your piece of mind and to avoid postage charges, delivery and collection in person is strictly by appointment only. This must be agreed prior to delivery or collection.
